Giving and serving isn't always like we think it will be, and I love that you point out the truth here of what serving can feel like.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01547380098561803645noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7313031977350009481.post-24244426505328717842011-11-20T16:47:34.776-06:002011-11-20T16:47:34.776-06:00Joy,

Sometimes I feel like my serving is so puny compared to others who are doing big things for Christ ... but you're right, it's about being obedient to what God's called us to do. It's a few years old, but the author talks about all kinds of myths we buy into, and these very things which sometimes sound good (like making a difference) actually distract us from obeying God. Really good. The kind of book that you have to read in bitsAmy Sullivanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03571083038560430815noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7313031977350009481.post-88838931489525904712011-11-19T14:28:35.521-06:002011-11-19T14:28:35.521-06:00Amy is everywhere lately! I've been at both ends of the spectrum...doing too little with the right heart, and doing too much with the wrong heart. Oh that I would serve the way my Savior did and does.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7313031977350009481.post-56072990340534180752011-11-19T11:34:51.636-06:002011-11-19T11:34:51.636-06:00Amy, you move me.
